   To create a site plan for my major project I gonna use a satellite pictures from Google Earth. I zoom in the area that I am interested (in my case it is Magazine Gateway Building in Leicester with its immediate surroundings) and I did a screen shot using for that Snipping Tool. I did two screen shots. One was from  the Google map, and second one was from the Google Earth application, witch shows the buildings in three dimensions. Based on these photos, I started to draw my site plan.  Then I Drew a image of the passageway blended in the area where it supposed to be. 

 

 This is my Art, Design & Media Digital Arts Major Project Approval Post. My continuation Route is Architecture, and my project is in this area.  My plan is to create a project of transformation of an existing building-Magazine Gateway  at  De Montfort Univesity. I will create a Design of roofed passageway connecting Gateway building, where new but still open space will be accessible for students expositions and art gallery. I will create 2-4 architectural design boards. This will include a concept design, a floorplan/site plan, information's about materials that will be used to build a passageway, elevation, specification and my research.  Adam Borek is an artist who, apart from drawing and sculpture, interests the Architecture the most. Both architectural sketches and design using Digital Software. Art has always been in his life, and gradually, over the years, his interest began to focus on Architecture. Before he started his studies at the DMU University, he had already made a few custom-made Dioramas for Museums. Hi has a collection of his own homemade knives, as well as a collection of postcards related to architecture. On this post I gonna focus on materials research for my major project. Innovation in concrete construction, with  the example of doubly curved concrete roof, helps to lower em-bodied emission and energy in the structure of buildings, reduce construction waste and minimalize resource consumption. It also shows how the integration of advanced building system in lightweight structures allows for efficient operation and high user comfort. my construction will include a doubly curved , two-layered concrete shell, which will containing a layer of insulation blocks between two sheets of reinforced concrete of only about 3-5 cm thick. The concrete layers will be connected by thin compressive stiffening ribs and vertical tension rods to activate the entire depth of the section. The system of the construction will be made of lightweight metal cable-net and fabric formwork.  At this lesson we create our Contact Page. I wrote a short introduction to the page. Next step was to change the contact details, so I just delate al personal contact details. Then I add my Blogger icon to the page. I did this by clicking the plus icon and I choose the social icon to select the Blogger Icon and I added it to my page.    I wanted to keep it clear as this is very important.  So this is how my page look like after my modification.

This is my site I have been editing. I chose an Architecture template as this is my progression route. I have changed the name and the title. I did this by clicking on the name and edit it.   The next step was to put some other picture. I did this by right clicked on the background and I clicked on the change background. I also added the copyright at the bottom in the footer. Again I clicked on the text. Then I check the phone view of my page, and I did some change to match the view, and exactly I did it by stretching the picture.
