 This is my Art, Design & Media Digital Arts Major Project Approval Post.

My continuation Route is Architecture, and my project is in this area. 

My plan is to create a project of transformation of an existing building-Magazine Gateway  at  De Montfort Univesity. I will create a Design of roofed passageway connecting Gateway building, where new but still open space will be accessible for students expositions and art gallery.

I will create 2-4 architectural design boards. This will include a concept design, a floorplan/site plan, information's about materials that will be used to build a passageway, elevation, specification and my research. I will add also hand draw design.

I will use Photoshop to create boards, which I will add to my website by the beginning of march 2022.

Location-Port Praski

 I chose Port Praski ( Praski Harbour ) as the location for my building. During my visit to Liverpool I was fascinated by Albert Docks . When I started working on my final project, I linked my experience from visiting Albert Docks with Port Praski in Warsaw, which recently undergoing renovation of the whole site. It is a river port on the Vistula river in Warsaw, the Capital of Poland, in the Praga-North district. The port was built in the area of the Vistula river glacier valley and at the beginning (before the second world war) it was called the New Port. In the interwar period, three port basins were built. The port  was used for cargo loading and as a winter port. later the cargo handling functions were taken over by the Port Zeranski. Until 2012, there was a water station in the Port Praski, which was built in 1885, and it was then used as a floating marina for steam boats.  The port performed its function until 1963, when a new port Zeranski was put into use.
