Location research

 For my project I will research a perfect location for "my house". I am thinking about beautiful places in my home country, Poland. There are many wonderful areas, in the north lots of lakes and forests, and in the south with beautiful hills, rivers, mountains and valleys. One of my favorite regions called Bieszczady, it is a sparsely populated place with many rivers, forests and hills. The place is famous for its amazing colors of flora and fauna, especially during the fall.

Bieszczady are a beautiful and sparsely populated part of the country. A large part of Bieszczady is occupied by the national park. National Park. Despite this, there are many beautiful places where you can build a house. Log houses are popular in this area. There are few examples of houses in this region.

    This is interesting enough, but again, there is not enough detail here for a project of this nature. You need to consider the accessibility of the location, whether or not it would be easy to transport materials into the site, the affordability of transporting in materials or whether you would use local materials.

 I chose Port Praski ( Praski Harbour ) as the location for my building. During my visit to Liverpool I was fascinated by Albert Docks . When I started working on my final project, I linked my experience from visiting Albert Docks with Port Praski in Warsaw, which recently undergoing renovation of the whole site. It is a river port on the Vistula river in Warsaw, the Capital of Poland, in the Praga-North district. The port was built in the area of the Vistula river glacier valley and at the beginning (before the second world war) it was called the New Port. In the interwar period, three port basins were built. The port  was used for cargo loading and as a winter port. later the cargo handling functions were taken over by the Port Zeranski.
