Major Project research

 For my major project I start to looking for additional research, and  example of some architects that inspire me, as I looking for similar constructions. I started to think about the shape of the building that would fit in with the surroundings. I found an innovative structure called a doubly curved concrete roof, which was invented by ETH Zurich in collaboration with industry partners. The shape of such a roof gives a lot o open space and gives the impression of lightness, even though it is made of concrete.

I did also some sketches 









 
In my project I am going to insert light strips between concrete, which will be made of plexiglass, acrylic glass or polycarbonate. I added also transparent roof ideas research, as there is a many types of glass. I believe that the shape of such a structure will fit perfectly between modern and historic buildings, including Magazine Gateway.

    Again here you have added an introduction but included no references or actual research. This is not helped by the fact that you are discussing your major project but have not posted your major project initial ideas, milanote or project sign off and planning. Please add missing work

Location-Port Praski

 I chose Port Praski ( Praski Harbour ) as the location for my building. During my visit to Liverpool I was fascinated by Albert Docks . When I started working on my final project, I linked my experience from visiting Albert Docks with Port Praski in Warsaw, which recently undergoing renovation of the whole site. It is a river port on the Vistula river in Warsaw, the Capital of Poland, in the Praga-North district. The port was built in the area of the Vistula river glacier valley and at the beginning (before the second world war) it was called the New Port. In the interwar period, three port basins were built. The port  was used for cargo loading and as a winter port. later the cargo handling functions were taken over by the Port Zeranski. Until 2012, there was a water station in the Port Praski, which was built in 1885, and it was then used as a floating marina for steam boats.  The port performed its function until 1963, when a new port Zeranski was put into use.
