Further artist research

 I start to research for more architectural geniuses. I found a list of famous architects of the 20th century. Then I write down the 20 of them and I start to looking for those one whose work is somehow connect with my project. 


First one which I work look at was Eero Saarinen, who was a Finnish American architect and industrial designer who knows for his Neo-futuristic style. He was a prolific architect who designed national memorials, corporate campuses and airport terminals. One of his most widely recognized design is the iconic Gateway Arch in St. Louis, the tallest man-made national monument in the United States. He was creative, open-minded  and original in his design. He was a leader of second-generation modernists, constantly pushing material and aesthetic boundaries.

    However you can look at other ones if you think they are more relevant...

Location-Port Praski

 I chose Port Praski ( Praski Harbour ) as the location for my building. During my visit to Liverpool I was fascinated by Albert Docks . When I started working on my final project, I linked my experience from visiting Albert Docks with Port Praski in Warsaw, which recently undergoing renovation of the whole site. It is a river port on the Vistula river in Warsaw, the Capital of Poland, in the Praga-North district. The port was built in the area of the Vistula river glacier valley and at the beginning (before the second world war) it was called the New Port. In the interwar period, three port basins were built. The port  was used for cargo loading and as a winter port. later the cargo handling functions were taken over by the Port Zeranski. Until 2012, there was a water station in the Port Praski, which was built in 1885, and it was then used as a floating marina for steam boats.  The port performed its function until 1963, when a new port Zeranski was put into use.
